Susan Swartz Studios and Palomino on Main co-hosted the opening event for the YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) Park City Gold Chapter. Attendees included both Park City YPO members and second homeowner members of the Los Angeles chapter. Susan Swartz Studios Director Robin Rankin covered relevant topics related to the global art world. Discussion areas included financialization in the art world, sales in the art market for contemporary and blue-chip work (breakout stars vs. old masters), establishing cultural and economic value, contemporary artists and their market trajectory, and primary markets (galleries and art fairs) vs. secondary markets (auction houses and private dealers).
