Art In Bloom 2026
“Art in Bloom” is making an anticipated return this summer at Susan Swartz Studios. Inspired by the popular event that takes place in museums throughout the country, “Art in Bloom” will feature new works by painter Susan Swartz paired with artwork-inspired arrangements by Lamb’s Ear Floral Design.
Film, Ecology, & Impact with Dr. Ben Abbott
Doctor Ben Abbott is a BYU Global Ecologist, the Executive Director of Grow The Flow, and a main subject of The Lake documentary that premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. Dr. Abbott discussed the collapse of the Great Salt Lake and the actions that must be taken to save it.
A Special Conversation with Terry Tempest Williams
Award-winning writer, conservationist, and activist Terry Tempest Williams visited during the Natural Order exhibition for an evening exploring environmental stewardship and belonging through her deeply personal and lyrical work rooted in the landscapes of Utah. Attendees were treated to a surprise reading from her new book The Glorians.
ThinkSuite: The Winds of Climate Change
ThinkSuite helps investors work toward building a world where capital is distributed more equally, unconstrained by human biases and aimed at cultivating a sustainable planet. The purpose of this reception was to bring together voices from art, film, and environmental science to create thoughtful conversation and invoke change. Speakers included John Tilak, Odessa Rae, Claire Breukel, Deepika Sharma, Sundaram Tagore, Dr. Ben Abbott, and Susan Swartz.
Conversations on Art and Film: The Gallerist Panel
UMOCA collaborated with Susan Swartz Studios to host a lively panel discussion for The Gallerist following its premiere. The panel was moderated by Laura Allred Hurtado, and speakers included Cathy Yan, Sophie Mas, Ash Sarohia, and art consultant Robert Dimin. The conversation examined the evolving relationships between artists, markets, and storytelling.
Sundance Film Festival 2026
Throughout Park City’s final Sundance and during the run of the Natural Order exhibition, Susan Swartz Studios hosted a myriad of impactful events including premiere parties for The Lake, One In A Million, The Gallerist, and Give Me The Ball.
Art In Bloom 2025
Inspired by the popular event that takes place at major museums across the country each year, Susan Swartz Studios was thrilled to collaborate with local floral designer Hayden Williams of Lambs Ear Floral Design to bring the exciting concept to Park City. Williams created floral interpretations of eight Susan Swartz paintings.
Artwork and Collecting in the 21st Century with YPO
Susan Swartz Studios hosted the opening event for the YPO Park City Gold Chapter. Director Robin Rankin covered relevant topics related to financialization in the global art world.
Olympic 20th Anniversary Celebration
Susan Swartz Studios hosted an Open House and pop-up installation featuring two commissioned paintings and other Olympic memorabilia. During the event, Susan Swartz signed copies of Natural Revelations, a catalog published in 2007 that features the Olympic paintings with text by Dr. Jane Goodall and Robert Coles.
Park City Institute & Eli Saslow
Eli Saslow is an award-winning journalist and writer for the New York Times. Saslow spoke about the national opioid addiction crisis to follow up on his film Four Good Days that premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. The film depicted the devastating consequences of opioid addiction on families and communities.
Haitian Orchestra Institute Fundraiser with the Utah Symphony
Musicians from the Utah Symphony travel to Haiti annually, volunteering to teach and mentor musicians in the Haitian Orchestra Institute. Susan Swartz Studios delights in offering a way for our community to gather and support the Utah Symphony as they continue this important collaboration.
Panel: Art, Justice, & Imagination
In line with the premiere of the documentary Aggie, Susan Swartz Studios organized a panel in association with Aubin Pictures. Moderated by Charles Blow from the New York Times, the panel featured speakers Darren Walker from the Ford Foundation, artist Xaviera Simmons, artist Russell Craig, and philanthropist Agnes Gund.
